would. do it all again if
you had to, you would.
allow yourself to be nailed to a cross, there, to be a sacrifice for all
mankind. to give us new life JESUS, you suffered in pain and agony
and would i stand by? deny? once, twice, thrice, the price too high?
i would like to think that
perhaps i would stay by
your side, but, in truth i
would run and hide. i'd
flow with the tide of the
ones who cried, crucify.
so here now, i come to
bow, and remember all
that you've done on the
cross, knowing that you
would do it all again for
me. i know, you would.

cool, Elaine. I love it! the cross looks awesome and your words fill me with gratitude for what he did for us.
Great words and design.
Quite the challenge finding the right words to fit. But a worthwhile one!
excellent concrete elaine...the perfect message ont he way to easter....the perfect message
I'd like to think I'd be brave and could sacrifice too, but could never live up to Him. And yes, I bet he would do it again.
Your faith is astounding! Blessing this holy week, Elaine.
This is so sweet. I love the care you took to find the right words to fit the love our Savior gave for us.
Beautifully done!
This is excellent, Elaine! The message, the word, the formatting. I'm so thankful "he would" do it over and over again.
Absolutely breath-taking piece, Elaine... perfect cross with Jesus at the heart, and very moving.

Would I stand by, deny or run? Good question. I'm so glad that what I would have done is so much less vital than what He did.
This is so perfect! If you only knew. I have spent three painful evenings helping my son with a poetry project. Eighteen autobiographical poems. He could choose which style from a few. The only one he said "no" to was the shape poem! I'll have to show him yours. Maybe he'll change his mind next time :).
Thanks for stopping in to see me over at the Wellspring. So good to make a new friend.
lovely wordsmithing... i admire the work you put into the form of this. as for the other - i'm glad there is grace and forgiveness, too...
this is amazing. and it's something i often think about: would i have stayed, or ran? i love how honest you are, friend. and the way you shaped the cross with your words....
Beautiful poem here, but the animated one...AMAZING!!!! My technically challenged brain can't even wrap around how you did it!
Wow well crafted...what a focal point!
Oh yes, I do love your cross! and the words that shape it...truly a Spirit-led post! I am so glad I came by to visit you!
Well done! I'm captured by both the shape and the message. Blessed Easter to you!
Very well done. May the Lord use and bless you as you celebrate the resurrection.
