Winter Lace

O seasonal celestial skies upon this orb, has graced
A crystal crochet covering of pure white winter lace

This frosted silent shroud settles on limbs exposed and bare
And forms a glittering glaze to showcase natures earthenware

Standing in snowy stillness mortal eyes in awe, survey
Such ornate frozen forestry on delicate display

I adore alliteration. The beauty of the crystal cover limbs. Our winter has be unusually warm. I love the view from my computer screen. I don't miss the view from my window. :)

You've captured a frozen moment in time with delicate observation and caring words. The crystalline palace that is so alluring during the winter is well graced with your poem.

Beautimus! Your poem is like a slice of crystal or a discrete ornate snowflake.

You've captured that exquisite ice storm perfectly. Though those storms do great damage here in Texas and cost me several trees, my heart always races to see the world turn to etchings of frost, lace, and crochet on trees. Well done.
